What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in at Rosemead House starts at 4 PM, and check-out is 11 AM.
Early arrivals and late departures are based on availability and fees may apply.
Is the hotel pet-friendly?
While Rosemead House is a pet-free property, we are happy to accommodate guests traveling with service dogs.
Please note that only service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities are permitted. We kindly ask that you contact us prior to your arrival so we can make the appropriate arrangements to support your stay.
What is the cancellation policy at Rosemead House?
Cancellations can be made without penalty up to three days prior to arrival depending. Cancellations made within three days of arrival will incur a charge equal to one night’s room rate plus tax. Advance Saver rates are fully non-refundable.
In the case of a no-show, a one-night room and tax will be applied.
Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
The Rosemead House was built in 1906 and is a heritage building that has laws protecting the building from structural changes. There are steps to enter the building and a full flight of stairs to the room levels.
Guests staying in the Grove Collection rooms can enjoy the convenience of elevator access to their rooms.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. An elevated continental breakfast is included with your stay through January 4, 2026. Guests may enjoy this daily in Janevca’s Lounge from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., exclusively reserved for hotel guests. Kindly share any dietary preferences with us upon check-in, and our team will be pleased to accommodate.
Beginning January 5, 2026, breakfast will no longer be included in the nightly rate. For those who wish to continue this morning ritual, a Bed & Breakfast package will be available as an enhanced reservation option.
Is there parking available?
Yes, we offer complimentary underground self-serve parking. You can enter from the grand Buckingham Gate upon arrival, or access more directly from the third entrance which is located a bit further South on Lampson Street.

Valet parking is available at a rate of $30 per night.
Is there a minimum stay required?
A minimum stay is not currently required for weekend reservations. Please note that a minimum stay may be implemented on key long weekends and holidays – please refer to the specific booking conditions on each rate as they may differ.
Are your rooms non-smoking?
Rosemead House is a non-smoking property. A $500 deep-cleaning fee will apply for any smoking in rooms, balconies, or public areas. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and vaping devices.
What is the minimum age to book a room independently?
To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we kindly ask that individuals be at least 21 years of age to reserve a room independently.
A valid government-issued photo ID will be requested at check-in.
How do I qualify for Resident's Rates?
We are pleased to offer discounts to our regional community. For those booking our Resident Rates, government issued ID will be required at check-in at which time we will also ensure your home address is based in BC, Alberta, or Washington State in order for the rate to be honoured.
