In 2015, Aragon Properties purchased the historic 106-year old property fondly known as the English Inn. The goal was to complete a fairly quick and limited renovation to allow the hotel to re-open quickly, and focus our attention on developing the condos to the east of the property. Over 10 years and $18 million dollars later, what started as a small-scale renovation turned into a restoration that makes Rosemead House what it is today.

Our owner, Lenny Moy, was interviewed by the Times Colonist in May 2024 about the ever-growing English Inn restoration project. This article was the first time that the veil of Rosemead House had been lifted, to reveal a thoughtfully-restored hotel with a charm and and a personality that had to be experienced to be understood.
